Let’s take another look back on my Someday Journey..
I had a conversation with my 16-year-old self. If I were to do the conversation over between Alex-at-16 and Alex-at-39, Alex-16 would be much prouder of Alex-39 then he was of Alex-37. Two years along and completing my dreams are that much closer. Check out the interview here.
Pursuing dreams isn’t always easy - in fact sometimes it can make you feel downright cranky and even angry. In the post Why I’m Angry All the Time, I talk about how by taking myself out of comfort and pushing myself into a pursuit of happiness, my resistance (and temper) flares. Fortunately, a walk or run releases endorphins and quickly the bad mood vanishes.

Well, at least now you can report back to your past self that you’re finally famous!
I think every time of emotion is valid, as long as your journey is headed in the right direction. I’m with you - exercise = endorphins = happy energy.

So great that you’re able to look back and reflect. I think my younger self would definitely be happier with who I am now that who I was two years ago. It’s really interesting to think about how, at certain points in our lives, we really change a lot.

@Andy
While I have some minor (minor) Internet fame, it’s so not what Alex-16 would consider real fame. That’ll come though.
@Positively Present
I like to look back at my own life because I’m really bad at comparing my life to others which only creates negatively, envy and resentment. By comparing my life with my past life, I see just the progress and successes.
