You knew it had to happen. I eventually had to go there. After all, there’s nothing more pop or more about positivity than High School Musical - the cornerstone in Disney’s millennial pop-teen empire.
And with lyrics like the following, you can’t argue with the message:
We’re breakin’ free
We’re soarin’
Flyin’
There’s not a star in heaven
That we can’t reach
If we’re trying
So for this month’s Positivity in Pop Music, I give you Gabriela and Troy singing Breaking Free.

LOL… I was just telling my friend yesterday, “I’ve always wanted to watch High School Musical, but never got around to it. Someday, I will.”

Sometimes we need cheesy pop music to put us in a good mood. I’ve never seen high school musical, but my wife has and she enjoys it. Maybe one day I’ll watch it. Someday syndrome strikes
Arrrrgh!
For today I’ll just enjoy the YouTube clip.

I’m a part of the never-seen-it crowd but it’s on my list but it’ll be in Spanish, so it’ll be as well as good escapist fun a Spanish lesson.
Good one - hadn’t heard this one before. *tapping foot*
